ABOUT US

93 OAK is a non-profit organization, under the French law of 1901, founded in 2018 to promote the success of young people through education. By organizing international educational exchange programs around urban cultures and popular education, we aim to rebuild local human ties around our heritages and their transmission.

Our aim is to build a bridge between Seine-Saint-Denis and Oakland, California, on 4 major themes:

EDUCATION

CULTURE

SPORT

ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Our aim is to offer young people in our region opportunities for mobility, to discover a new city, new people, professional networks and lifestyles, in order to open up their minds.

The 93 OAK association focuses on the discrimination faced by local residents, and in particular on the four themes highlighted. Our project has a strong bias: the young people who benefit from missions to Oakland must have demonstrated their civic commitment through activities such as tutoring, serving breakfasts to other young people (elementary, middle school), setting up workshops, and having demonstrated an appropriate posture in their commitment.

BY THEM, FOR THEM
We're convinced that going out shapes youth.

It means acquiring responsibility, autonomy and mobility.

In other words, it's about blossoming and finding one's place in society.

MISSIONS

SUPPORT

Very few young people from working-class neighborhoods have the opportunity to go abroad during their studies, for lack of means and information. We have created this program to fight this discrimination against mobility. This unique experience in their schooling will be a vital opportunity for the future, and is a long-term investment.
